Each IFG office is independently owned and operated. The IFG principals in each office are the ultimate decision makers. As a result, we transact our business promptly and professionally without layers of bureaucracy and without a lengthy review and approval process.
Jose Vizcarrondo, CFA has over 30 years’ experience in asset management, encompassing the management of fixed income and equity portfolios for global financial institutions such as Citigroup, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (BlackRock) and ING. He was Chief Investment Officer for the Bank and Trust of Puerto Rico, Senior Portfolio Manager with Merrill Lynch in Geneva, Switzerland, and Head of Portfolio Management for ING Bank in Switzerland. He was founder/President of San Juan Asset Management, an independent investment advisor, and CEO of Arellano Family Group, a private diversified investment holding group.
Jose is a Chartered Financial Analyst, has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. with a major in Finance, and a Master’s in Business Administration from The University of Texas at Austin with concentrations in Finance and Accounting.
