Message from the Founder and Chairman

When I started The Interface Group^® back in 1971, it was with the express purpose of assisting small businesses with their cash-flow needs. Those cash-flow needs also translated into their “growth needs”.

Now, more than 35 years later, I find that purpose has not changed. The market, however, has grown significantly over the years and so the Interface organization is today much larger and more widely spread from a geographical standpoint. The role of Interface franchisees, however, remains constant which is to provide much needed short-term working capital in the small business marketplace.

The Interface family, made up of franchise owners, and our corporate staff, represents a dedicated group of individuals who are all committed to this same goal. It has proved for me, and subsequently the franchisees, to be a very rewarding business, both in terms of the revenue generated as well as the tangible benefits that our clients have enjoyed over the years.

Message from the President

Being the market leader is not always the best thing-you have nowhere to go-you have already ‘arrived’. While Interface is certainly the market leader in the supply of short-term working capital through a franchised business format, we still have extensive growth plans and opportunities.

Interface has, over our franchising years, seen exceptional growth starting with our base operation in Canada and then moving into the U.S. market arena and more recently with the establishment of an Area Developer for New Zealand. Expansion in these three countries is very much on the near term agenda as is further international growth.

The need for the Interface invoie discounting service continues to grow year by year. We plan to maintain a well-controlled growth velocity in our own business to ensure that we can service that market demand and remain the market leader.
